Has anyone insisted on calling your mutt a stupid name?
Q. I was at the dog park last night, and this lady asked me if my dogs were both Schnoodles. I said one is a Toy Poodle, and the other is a Poodle and we think Schnauzer mix. Anyway, the lady insisted he is a Schnoodle, and said her sister owns two that look exactly like my dog. I didn't know mutts looked alike. I told her we weren't 100% sure because he was sold to us from a rescue as a Poodle Mix. The dog in question is on the left and my Toy Poodle is on the right.

Potential county employer insisted on mailing my current supervisor to get performance evaluation?what to do?
Q. I passed the interview and tests, and now they are doing background check. The investigator who does this insisted to get my current supervisor's name and one co-worker's name, so he can mail them a letter and ask them to evaluate my performance. I absolutely don't want my boss to know it, because even after I passed the background check, they will not garantee an offer. I don't want to risk my job for nothing. Any suggestions?

Philosophers insisted reason and experience are all we need to find truth?
Q. Do you think Thomas Aquinas would have agreed with this statement or not?
Asked by fonseca_mf - Mon Mar 19 18:15:13 2007 - - 11 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Given that Thomas Aquinas became renowned for his rational approach to defining God, I am certain he felt reason and experience were neccessary to find the truth. However, the aspects that he attributes to God are ethereal in nature; such that they cannot be measured by even modern-day methods. Thus, I would suggest that Thomas Aquinas would insist upon adding faith to the list.

What happened with the moron who insisted on getting an "outside dog"?
Q. That whole thing really upset me - how she kept insisting that she wanted a dog and she didn't want to hear how she shouldn't leave it outside...yadda yadda. People like that have no business caring for animals. Here's the original: Please click the link above for details of her rant. More than anything, I'm concerned that someone so immature would even own a pet, let alone make it live outside.

what you will do if not cost justified to computerized a system but vice president insisted?
Q. it's about system analyst in Information system study. And after using feasibility phase i know that to computerized the system will not cost justified.so how? VP insisted that system must be computerized by any way also.i got nothing to do now.i cant figure out any other way.
Asked by shirley x - Thu Dec 21 14:37:18 2006 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Well if I understand you correctly you have discovered that the system is not going to provide an added financial benefit to the company. However the VP is insisting the system be installed anyway. Honestly, you keep track of any correspondence you have with the VP showing that the system will not provide an added financial benefit to the company and then you go ahead and install it. But bear in mind there are other reasons why a system may be installed besides financial. There are also ethical and legal issue that sometimes come into play.

MIL insisted that babies will gain more weight if breastfeeding hurt. Does this make any sense?
Q. So one day she walked in while I was feeding my son and "repositioned" him so that it hurt, saying that the correct way to breastfeed was the painful way. It's a sacrifice that all mothers should make. To support this statement, she said that she had breastfed all her kids the painful way, and all of them had gained more than the average babies. How do I act on this without causing a rift?
Asked by Shaun's Mamma - Fri Nov 30 11:21:00 2007 - - 29 Answers - 0 Comments
A. tell her she raised her kids, now you are gonna raise yours. as long as the baby is feeding, its gaining the weight he needs.. what the hell does pain have to do with anything... your mil cant prove that they wouldnt have gained the same amount of weight had she had breastfed the non painfull way.

But let's leave the right officials do their job and mine our own self. For sure some of them know what they doing. And illegals has a lengthy procedure of getting the amnesty. And my guess, it would be like the processing of legal immigration process. So, fair enough.

If the Obama daughters had been born in Kenya, would that culture have insisted they be circumcised?
Q. I'm not alleging any Obama accept for Barack Obama Sr. was born in Kenya... A female circumcision removes the girls clitoris. According to several sources, this has been preformed on at least half of Kenya's female population.

A. Thank God they were born here. That is one of the most brutal practices, and they usually do it without surgical tools and no anesthesia. They use a sharp rock. It mutilates the women permanently. Both physically and mentally. The women usually cannot achieve orgasm, intercourse is painful, some die from infection from the actual surgery, some die in childbirth from it. Sexism is the cause. People are so worried about race but abuse and subjugation of women is rampant around the world. They have that practice in many countries, Sudan, Kenya, Sierra Leone to name a few.
